We are a small boutique hotel with two restaurants operational during season. We are looking for a part time Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. You should be self-motivated and able to work independently; great at problem-solving; and have the initiative to complete any tasks you identify without prior instruction. You should be a team player and willing to take on tasks that help us operate more efficiently. You should come to work with a positive attitude and love helping ensure that our guests enjoy their stay.


  • Performs daily Front Desk functions such as preparing guest packets, check-in and -out, answering phones, completion of shift check-list, processing transactions, etc.
  • Manage online and phone reservations and respond to emails
  • Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and provide information about our hotel, rates, and amenities
  • Respond to guests’ concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with our housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure all guest rooms are properly cleaned and maintained
  • Restaurant reservations
  • Check-in liquor and food orders occasionally and other restaurant support duties
  • Organize Pool deck chairs, test pool and spa
  • Performs light administrative duties
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager


  • Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role preferred
  • Experience with hotel reservations software, like Cloudbeds a plus
  • Positive, Helpful Customer service attitude
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
