A Mid-Century Modern Escape Beneath the Stars

April brings some of the clearest skies of the year to Borrego Springs—making it an ideal time to visit The Palms at Indian Head. Whether you’re drawn by celestial events, the timeless design of our mid-century modern setting, or simply the peace and quiet of the desert, everything you need for a restorative escape is here. This month also features a powerful new art exhibit, fine dining at Coyote Steakhouse, and community-centered cultural events just minutes away

In The Gallery: Sheltering Dark Sky by Dany Tomas

  • Exhibit Dates: April 5–25

  • Opening Reception: April 5 from 5 to 7 PM

  • Free and open to the public

Dine With Us at Coyote Steakhouse

Open Wednesday through Sunday, our on-site restaurant offers a refined dining experience rooted in timeless flavor. Don’t miss our Prime Rib Saturdays, a guest favorite served in an intimate dining room framed by original mid-century architecture and warm lighting.

Stay Where Style Meets Sky

Built in the 1950s as a hideaway for Hollywood stars, The Palms at Indian Head remains true to its roots. Spacious rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows open to panoramic views of the Anza-Borrego Desert. Each space is thoughtfully appointed in mid-century modern style—simple, clean, and designed to bring the outdoors in.

For an even more secluded experience, book one of our poolside casitas and enjoy your own private patio just steps from the water. It’s the kind of desert quiet that stays with you.
